The medical centre of Grand Hotel Pomorie is on two floors, with 17 treatment rooms. It is headed by Dr Stefan Shishkov. A doctor is available every day from 09:00 to 17:00, and a doctor is on duty at the hotel around the clock.

Conditions of the musculoskeletal system, the peripheral nervous system, the female and male reproductive systems, the respiratory system, the skin and the metabolism.
Treatment combines the natural factors of Pomorie, mud and lye, with physiotherapy, kinesitherapy and therapeutic massages.

Modern physiotherapy equipment for conditions of the musculoskeletal system, the peripheral nervous system and the skin: devices for magnetotherapy, ultrasound, high-frequency and ultra-high-frequency currents.
Kinesitherapy and therapeutic exercise take place in a separate hall with equipment for individual programmes.

Mud therapy and lye therapy
The healing mud and lye from Lake Pomorie have an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect. The hotel has a mud transfer system: the mud reaches the mud therapy section straight after heat treatment.

Mandatory
medical examination
Every guest who will use treatment procedures has a mandatory medical examination. The doctor decides whether the procedures are suitable for you and prepares an individual treatment programme according to your condition.

When you enquire about a treatment package, you answer a few questions about your health. A doctor reviews the answers and then we contact you.

At the start of your stay the doctor examines you and decides which procedures are suitable for you.

Treatment programme
You receive an individual treatment programme prepared according to your condition.

Procedures
You start the procedures according to the programme. We recommend at least five days of treatment for a satisfactory result.
Contraindications
Please tell us in advance if you have cancer, if you have had a heart attack or stroke in the last two years, if you have recently had surgery or if you are pregnant. The doctor may refuse procedures in case of contraindications, for example cardiovascular conditions. Children under 18 do not receive procedures.
